CIN Creative Coffee

Thursday 7th May 2009 10am - 12pm - Quad Cafe Bar

This year we want to encourage more conversations between creatives in the city and county. Not just conversations, but the collaborations that they could lead to. It's been our experience over the years that knowing a lot of people is great, but knowing what their area of expertise is is, in business terms, even better. That's why we've booked the QUAD Café Bar for two hours every other Thursday morning, at 10:00 until 12:00.

Of course, you'll be able to keep your seats should you want them past 12 - it would be great if the conversations went over two hours. There's free wireless available, and the coffee is gooooood. It doesn't cost anything to attend...just bring yourself and your ideas, and perhaps a business card or ten.

A couple of things we might be considering on the day (although it is up to those who attend to decide!)

The benefits of thinking creatively in business.
The changing world (particularly in economic terms this year) and it's impact on your creative business.
Public Funding.
Urban regeneration (commercial and residential) - how creative approaches can enhance community engagement.
Positive change.
