    Nottinghamshire Artists and makers invite you to join them at the opening of the exhibition at Rufford Gallery that complements a series of Open Studios Notts events during the May weekends.

    This selected exhibition gives you a taste of the diverse range of works on offer.

    The Rufford Craft Centre is located in the Rufford Country Park which is located on the A614, south of Ollerton.

    The park is open every day except Christmas Day, from 10.30am to 5.00pm.

    The Craft Centre is located in the stable block next to the abbey.

    The gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday and bank holidays, admission is free.

  • CREATIVE COFFEE AT THE BEETROOT TREE

    We were so pleased to see so many people last time we thought we better do it again!

    Creative Coffees at the Beetroot Tree are just the beginning of lots of exciting collaborations we're planning and again it's an opportunity to meet both Paul's - Paul Hough from the Creative Greenhouse and Paul Storer, Gallery Director and Exhibitions Coordinator.

    This new Creative Coffee session will not only be a chance to network but it is also a chance to hear from both the Creative Greenhouse and the Beetroot Tree and ask questions about the Open Exhibition and we'll listen again to what you would like in the future.

    So join us for Creative Chatter, Coffees and Teas. All are welcome as always.

  • Earth and Fire 2013

    Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June 2013 10am- 5pm - Rufford Country Park

    Event picture Earth and Fire is one of the country's premiere ceramic events offering a vibrant and varied array of clay in all its forms.

    There's something for everyone from plates, mugs and teapots to garden planters and sculptural pieces as well as demonstrations and talks.

    Over 100 potters from across the UK and Mainland Europe selling direct to visitors from market stalls set in the grounds of the ancient abbey ruins.

    A celebration of clay in all its forms, the Earth and Fire International Ceramic Fair takes place at Rufford Abbey, Nottinghamshire every year with:

    - Over 7,000 visitors
    - Campus stands showcasing the next generation of potters
    - Trade stands selling tools of the trade

    For 19 years collectors, gallery owners, enthusiasts and the general public have flocked to Rufford to meet and talk to the potters selling everything from garden planters and sculptures, to bowls, pie dishes, teapots, mugs, plates and egg cups.
