23.07.10 Gedling Grants for the Arts
Gedling Arts Forum have a small pot of arts funding for individuals and organisations based in Gedling.
Gedling Arts Forum aims to include, encourage and develop participation in the arts within Gedling Borough through the support of local groups, artists and organisations who share an interest in the arts.
Funding is available to support individual artists and organisations in developing their artistic practise and enabling them to share their work with new audiences
Examples of what we might fund include are:
The cost of training courses
Marketing and promotional exercises
The creation of new work which is outside of your current practise
The creation of work which allows you to engage with a more diverse audience
Performances, exhibitions etc which take place in a new venue
Research projects
Audience development activity
Professional Development opportunities and mentoring
Funding is available to support
Individual artists
Voluntary organisations
Other non-statutory bodies
Artists and organisations based in Gedling and which provide substantial benefit to Gedling Borough residents
The deadline for this round of applications is 15th October 2010.
